The public
is invited to attend
Lt. Governor
Tim Griffin will be the special guest speaker for the event. Join coordinator
Eric Treat of Arkansas People First, the Arkansas State Independent Living
Council (ARSILC) and other professionals, individuals with disabilities,
caregivers and families unite to raise awareness about the negative impact of
the “R-word”. We encourage everyone to STOP and think about the
“R-word’s” derogatory uses in casual conversation. Language influences
attitudes!!
